I don't know about the satin one, but the Deauville is their cult classic which the most uplifting and secure bra for big boobs. I love mine and there is no comparison to the lift of some of my Fantasie or Freya ones. It all depends on the fitter of course to get the right size. I get fitted at Rugby and Pellet and then buy for at least £10 cheaper online.

thanks
i need it to be smooth under a silk top , the deuville looks like it might show through
am going to wing it and order one online am pretty sure about my size
where do you order yours from?

I can't remember, I just do a google search for the best price. Last time I think it was a shop in Bedford I got it from. Yes, the Deauville may show under clingy t shirts.

If you want a smooth t shirt bra, Bravissimo have a great Fantasie one...

I have a fantasie smooth one and it is not a great fit/look on me.

Just to say that in general Prima Donna worth every penny if you are as big bobbed as me. And the Deauville is wonderful - tho I agree may not be right with all T shirts. I too get fitted at R and P yearly and then order online. My bra and my hair are the two things I'd never economise on as they are with you always !

I used to wear that bra - the satin. it was ok. In the end I swapped for the lejaby tshirt bras which I find more comfortable. It's all very individual though. Definitely try it on somewhere if you can.

They are absolutely worth the money, so much better quality than Freya and appreciably better than Fantasie.

Do get fitted though, Primadonna are about the only brand that fit me normally as I find others have cups which are too wide, so they might be a bit narrow on lots of people iyswim?

Prima Donna tends to be available only at specialist shops as they do not agree with the discounts demanded by department stores. The Satin range is brilliant for T shirt bras although the skin tone colour leaves a lot to be desired. The Deauville is great under jumpers and woven fabrics.
Try Kathryn Rofle in Swinegate, York for good measuring and fit. She also does nursing bras.

Absolutely! Especially if you are well endowed. By far the best made, least scratchy, best fit bras on the market.

They are great but my regular T shirt option, because it's completely smooth, is the Chantelle Hedona. Good range of sizes and only about 2/3rds of the cost of a Primadonna. I wear both, but pick the Primadonna as better under dresses and blouses.
