Can anyone recommend a face peel mask/ serum that actually contains glycolic acid but no crap please? (eg parabens, silicones, etc)

so far ren, elemis and elemental herbology are the only ones I can find, are there any others? and has anyone tried any of these with success? or am I better off just continuing with an exfoliator?

I cant seem to get rid of flaky skin round nose.....

Many thanks

thanks monkey, would you say that the ren is better for pores/nose then? that's my real problem area. Have a bit of flakiness but its nose/sides of nose rather than cheeks/rest of face, if you see what I mean

I've tried the REN glycolic peel one, I had a sample from Space NK.

I wasn't expecting much but it was brilliant. It really gave my skin a fresh clean tight appearance which lasted a couple of days. So much more so than any other face mask I'd used, but it is the first glycolic mask I've used.

It's also gets very good reviews on makeup alley.

I'm going to buy it when next in Space NK.

Although I have ordered Paulas Choice weekly resurfacing treatment which I'm presuming will do the same sort of thing as is 10% glycolic I think, but I know that won't suit you

Another vote here for the Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel - discovered it years ago when pregnant with DD - couldn't buy new clothes, so spent a fortune on lotions and potions Grin !

Can't recommend it highly enough, I use a small amount a couple of times a week or so, I apply it before my shower and wash it off once I've done my hair and bod, which must be 7-8 mins or so? It leaves my mature skin clear & velvety soft - no tightness or redness - and it smells AMAZING! not cheap, but a little goes a long way.

I can also recommend the Soap and Glory Fab Pore - a clay based mask, that I use when I remember every couple of weeks. Feels like more of a deep clean than just a smoother so really clears the blackheads too.

All set to buy the Elemis papaya peel, but it seems to have lots of nasties in the ingredients I'm afraid MissFoodie, including parabens. See: www.cultbeauty.co.uk/elemis/elemis-papaya_enzyme_peel.php (click on 'Directions and Ingredients'). Very disappointing - could have done with ridding myself of the flaky skin!
