to buy or not to buy? and what to wear them with? legs are definitely best feature, apple on top so thinking some sort of loose fitting top?

i have some, i wear them with a baggy slouchy jumper and ballet pumps

I wear mine with a chunky knit or denim shirt & flats for day and black silk shirt & heels in evening. I wear them instead of opaques sometimes too.

I have some, and wore them with a band Tshirt and red heels for a night out. Don't think I could pull them off for a casual daytime look though!

Personally I'd sling on a leather jacket rather than a blazer because I'm a bit rough but sounds like a great outfit to me
