Have fallen in love with this

Such a lovely colour which looks good on me.

I'm 35 and not very stylish - well I try to be but in a dull kind of way.

Will it be one of those items that just looks rubbish with everything else I own.

I also fell in love with dress and cardigan in the same colour but am pretty sure if I wore the whole ensemble together I'd look like Camilla Parker Bowles mated with a ribena berry

Like the mac, like the dress. Not sure I'd do both together. Maybe black skirt/top or dress with the cardi and mac.

I'd like the mac with jeans too.

Thought as much . I have a normal beige mac I could wear with the dress if I needed.

I have quite a few Navy clothes which would veer towards beige rather than purple too.

But yes - will look fab with jeans.

Both together and you'd look like Violet Beauregard.
I like the style of the coat a lot but it really is very purple.

The dress is lovely.

After much soul searching have decided I can afford EITHER the dress/cardi or the coat.

Not both.

I would get the coat every time. Fab colour and timeless so it'll look good for years.

Definitely the mac- love it. Hobbs macs/coats are really fab and look beautiful for ever IMO if looked after.
