Sugar jack Holly I have a code gurgle1 that reduces it to £100 and I am so tempted, however what do you all think?

My fingers are itching, but I can think of so many sensible items I could spend my money on, especially with this baby making an appearance soon.

I have no babies but I would like that bag and at a discount like that I say go for it Grin...you'll be able to use it as a regular bag in a year or two anyway, practical and stylish so not a waste of money...hehe

Bohica · 28/02/2012 23:07

Will you use it as a baby bag too?

The link shows a happy mum, dad AND a pram?

You have a discount code for £188.

Can you afford to buy it buy it

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 28/02/2012 23:11

Mrsmartin the insert comes out to make it an ordinary bag.
I can afford it but do have other sensible things I should be saving for like sil wedding in May but then it would be a lovely bag for a wedding?

Can someone not tell me it is hideous and it is my hormones making me swoon over the pink??

Oh and yes bag for baby + nearly 3 year old and apparently it will fit an A4 folder in for when I go back to my studying...

It IS verrrrrry nice. Go for it. You can always flog it on eBay and make a decent amount of your money back later on.

mirpuppet · 28/02/2012 23:23

That is the nicest changing bag I've seen in a long time & it's leather. Get it.

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 28/02/2012 23:28

Oh no, oh dear! I have bought it...
I am going to need a BF dress to go with it for the wedding, that will be fun. Hmm
I hope I love it in the flesh!

OP posts:
gregssausageroll · 29/02/2012 07:39

It is lovely. I'd buy it as a normal bag. They have a few nice bags on there too.

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 29/02/2012 10:44

Any of you admiring it can use the code, only works on the the pink holly and it lasts until the stock goes I think. :) Did I mention it is £100 posted?!

It has just come and it is gorgeous! Definitely a £288 bag reduced to £100 not a £100 bag marked up to £288. Wink I think the code is still active you should all buy one, definitely a hand bag that happens to have a change mat included rather than a change bag. It is massive though, truly! Squee!

notsohot · 01/03/2012 15:47

Glad to hear that it is as good in RL.

PreciousPuddleduck · 05/03/2012 21:44

Omg, have just bought this baby bag for 100 pounds. Ridiculously excited!!!!!!!!!!!!

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 05/03/2012 22:04

It is lovely Precious! I am scared of putting yucky baby things in there now and not sprayed it yet as scared!
The service was really good too, got dispatch email the next day and received the day after that + was given a 1hr window of delivery. The only Hmm is that the dustbag and box are too small for the actual bag, but are useful for baby memories. Let me know what you think :)

I am jealous Envy - dh has imposed a spending ban and I can't buy it - I want it (I don't even have a baby but would happily put it away for when I do...and I would even time the conception so I had a spring baby as I think it is a s/s bag).

DH says sometimes I go too far...Grin

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 05/03/2012 22:28

It really doesn't look like a baby bag, the inside doesn't or anything just the paraphernalia does i.e change mat... How often are you going to get a nearly £300 bag for £100??

OP posts:
mrsmartin · 05/03/2012 22:33

most of my bags have been that sort of discount (I worked for russell and bromley for years and have friends who work for selfridgesBlush - things have a habit of getting lost in the stockroom until they are massively discounted). And I have about 50 or 60 bags....

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 05/03/2012 22:39

Lucky you! You might have something similar hidden at the back of your wardrobe? Or you could sell one or two to fund? Or buy this hide it at the back of your wardrobe and say it has been there all along Wink

OP posts:
mrsmartin · 05/03/2012 22:43

I have tried that trick too many time (and it has always worked hehe). I will be good though - planning on a big clear out once I've moved house...I'm sure something similar will come up in the future Grin

ps - I funded my whole wedding by selling my stuff on ebay Wink

Onamission28 · 06/03/2012 11:47

Yay, thanks OP my husband just ordered it for me. Its perfect actually it is our third anniversary coming up, which is leather and we found out last week we're expecting our first baby.

Thanks for sharing the code but wtf kind of code is that?! almost £200 off? Not complaining. Can't wait to receive it.

Thanks again.

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 06/03/2012 12:57

Congratulations all round Onamission! Leather anniv how more perfect could that be? I can recommend a good antenatal thread here.

I should have done a better thread title really, but was in a rush trying to decide. Amazing discount really :)

I bet you did Mrsmartin! Are you like Carrie (SATC) where did I spend £40k?.. Oh!

Thank you for posting this, ordered on Tuesday, it came today and I love it! So so soft and beautiful!

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 08/03/2012 19:17

Oh great! Need Onamission update now! I am glad people are finding this as my title isn't great.

OP posts:
Onamission28 · 09/03/2012 09:58

Hate to be the only one but unfortunately I was less than smitten with mine. I really wanted to love it but found it just too big. I think it overwhelms my petite frame.

It's just mahoooosive!

Think its going back. Shame as I don't like any other changing bags, might just have to get inserts and use my usual bags.

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 09/03/2012 11:11

Mission It is absolutely massive! I am now 40 weeks and if I wear it and look side on in a mirror it completely hides my bump! If I didn't have to cart two children's stuff around it would be too big!

Maybe we could help you track down a bag? Which ones have you looked at?

I haven't used mine yet or sprayed it even! Bit worried about doing it for some reason, the lining is so nice, I am scared to ruin it with yucky baby things! Love the Chloe bag! You should get one Hannah Wink
