I've bought some after seeing people raving over it on here. How on earth do you get it off? Have tried with jessica nail varnish remover but thats not even making it go tacky its like Ive just put water on them!!

Fab stuff though, much better than Jessica Brilliance.

I keep seeing it mentioned on here - a top coat right? How much is it and where do you buy it? Is it REALLY good or another MN scarf/Babyliss Big Hair over hype?

I use the Boots acetone free remover pads and hold one on it for a minute or so which works for me.

I get mine on eBay - usually pay less than a tenner.

I use the lidl pink nail polish remover, its brilliant and cheap. Only problem I find with seche vite is it goes thick before it runs out and the seche vite thinner is the only one that mixes really well with it, regular thinner doesn't work so well.

I use cutex non acetone nail polish remover (have used it for about 10 years)...I soak the cotton pad in the remover and hold it on the nail for a couple of minutes and then it just comes away in one go...takes abit longer than regular polish to remove but it is the only thing that has ever made my polish stay on so small price to pay imo. After some googling there are some concerns with the chemicals in SV - anyone else read the label? Shock

ifancyashandy · 29/02/2012 10:53

YY to the non acetone polish remover. I use cheapy Superdrug and it works fine.

Misssss · 29/02/2012 11:00

I get it from ebay too. I find the cheapest cheap nail polish remover gets it off. Don't bother with the posh stuff, the 49p business from home bargains works the best!

heidipi · 29/02/2012 11:11

valium I can see that there is some writing on the label but even if I screw my eyes up can only tell you that it's flammable. Any one got a microscope handy?

valiumredhead · 29/02/2012 11:16

If you google seche vite warning - there is loads about a chemical in it. I think it's because it's made in California though and there are very strict rules there.
