side fastening trousers anyone?

Does anyone know where I can get some side fastening trousers? I've recently had my 3rd baby and my stomach is literally like a flab pillow. I'm a size 14 but even when I'm a 12 it's still all soft and squidgy. I desperately wish I could wear jeans but they all cut into my belly :( Plus by the end of the day, I'm bloated and have to open them when I sit down. Nice. I vaguely recall the odious Trinny & Suzannah monster saying something about trousers with a side zip being good for flabby bellies, but can I find any? Oh how I wish I could wake up one day and have a firm flat stomach...

I have just bought the most wonderful pair of side fastening trousers from Next. They are unbelievably comfortable and a good fit for my pear shape (which is a first from Next). They aren't on their website or I would post a link.

ooh thanks bunbaker. Are they casual?

No, unfortunately. I bought them for work. They are wide leg and the pair I bought were in charcoal. They do them in red as well.

Try Wallis - they're always good for side fastening trousers (though almost always only in Black or White)

Oh bugger. I'm a SAHM. Maybe I should start a 'soft, forgiving jeans?' thread. Will look in Wallis, thanks ToffeePenny.

Seconding Next! I have the charcoal ones - got them for work but have worn them with boots and a leather jacket so they can be dressed down.

M&S have some black ones for £17.50

Do they wash well Theresa? I only bought them today.

Fine so far ... I put them in on a cool, wool setting and they haven't shrunk, or gone an odd shape. Haven't tried them in the dryer though, so I can't say how they'd stand up to a high temperature.
