Waterproof mascara

I don't wear it. I wear that Maybelline one in the pink and green packaging, and I love it.

However, I am going on holiday in a month, and I need a waterproof mascara for that.

I will be swimming a lot, and wearing contact lenses.

Please recommend me one. I don't want to go super-high-end, as I probably won't use it much after my holiday.

I like Lancome both waterproof and regular. I find the cheaper ones a false economy as they don't last as long.

Don't last as long in what way? Do you mean the bottle doesn't last as long, or that they come off over the course of the day?

Because if it's that the bottle doesn't last as long, I don't care about that. I only want it for a week.

See Lancome waterproof flakes for me. L'Oreal Telescopic Waterproof and Max Factor False Lash Effect Waterproof have booth been fine.

Max Factor irritates my eyes. Not a good look.

What I meant with last longer is that it stays all day, whilst others I have used needed to be applied again at some point during the day.

Meh. It's a holiday. I've already failed at losing the weight I needed to, so a bit of fading mascara is the least of my worries :o

As long as it's not all down my face, I don't mind re-applying it before dinner.

Am going to vote for blinc again. Who ever told me about it is a star. Works wonderfully!

TobyLerone · 27/02/2012 13:18

blinc? Never heard of it. Tell me more!

Love the stuff. Doesn't shift at all during the day and I used so many others before hand from no7, lancôme and Chanel and found none stayed the day for me without smudging and panda like eyes. Someone here suggested it for me and I love it. Comes off with hot water. Coats with some tubes.....I was a bit apprehensive at first when I heard tubes but it's seriously brilliant!

Sounds amazing. £18.50, though? I was hoping for between £5 and £10 :(
