I'm a size 16 on top, size 12 on the bottom and would like to wear a dress!

As the title says, I am rather top heavy, 32DD, and need a size 16 top but a size 12 in jeans/trousers/skirts. I have lost a lot of weight (4 stone) and would like to wear dresses, but not sure if what styles would be suitable. I am 5'5.

I'm similar,36f on top an 12 on the bottom.i usually wear a v neck/low cut neck line, I buy a 16 in coast and have the bottom half taken in.strapless work well for me.

The one I posted above also looks good

I'm 32F and 12 bottom, have found that M&S dresses tend to be a bit more generous on top. LK Bennett Davina fits me well and is very flattering. Check out Pepperberry, although many of theirs are a bit too low cut for my taste.

As for styles - nothing boxy and shapeless and not too high neck lines. Most empire lines won't be any good, as the seam will sit in the middle of the chest instead of under it. Cowl necks are often nice. Wrap dresses can be tricky as they tend to be too revealing, but a cami underneath makes many of them wearable.

Some styles I personally think look good on me:
wrap
phase8
DP

ASOS

pepperberry by bravissimo are made for your shape: www.bravissimo.com/pepperberry/?gclid=CLPqyPeDvK4CFSMLtAodrQqpFw

not a huge amount of choice but you should be able to get a really really nice fit which can sometimes make up for the style maybe not being your first choice.

I was going to recommend Pepperberry too. They have more range coming out on 26th March.
