I have just bought this one in blue for a posh event

I am breastfeeding so needed something with chest access. Fits nicely so am happy with it, but want to add something over it to smarten and also to keep warm. Not sure if blazers go over soft wrap dresses, can't find a suitable cardi. And what colour? It's zingy blue, so hard to think what, maybe navy? Pashmina things are not an option as I will be hoiking baby and change bag around.

And shoes... Nude?

Please help me turn it into an outfit wise ladies, I haven't a clue!
TIA.

What kind of event is it? If its a wedding, nice heels & a fascinator in a different colour (red?).

If its a dinner, then maybe really nice chunky jewellery - necklace & bracelet as well as posh heels.

I really like flower brooches that you can pin to your dress to jazz it up - useful if you don't want to wear a necklace.

Nude heels are lovely but I think these are going out of fashion? I would be tempted to get leopard print heels...

Oooh I like the idea of bright red! I have no red shoes. Any links? Not good in very high heels so need something mid and not too skinny. Strap also preferred (will be carrying baby around so trip hazards not good!)

How about for warmth? Jacket or fitted cardigan? Anybody seen any nice red ones that would work with a soft wrap dress?

Yes, it's a wedding, day and night so want something on top for the daytime.
Thank you!

I think either a jacket or a really pretty cardigan would be fine - Boden usually has some nice ones suitable for a wedding. Make sure the cardie/jacket goes with your shoes so do your shoe shopping after you have chosen the jacket/cardie.
