I am going to Claridges on Friday with my DH, his boss and his wife. I have never been. I have a dress I think I would like to wear but need help with tights, accessories and shoes. Please have a look and tell me what you think/ give me some ideas. Thanks.

Dress is gorgeous. Are you going for the black or blue?
I'm a play it safe classic dresser with awful veins on my legs (sorry TMI) so I would go for the blue, with black opaques, black stiletto shoeboot and a dressy blazer over.
Sorry...not very exciting but also taking into account the fact it's your DH's boss and wife..better to play safe I think.
Enjoy your meal out - v exciting!

I have the Blue one, it's quite a dull teal in real life. My DH bought it for me for Christmas I was very impressed by his choice and can't wait to wear it. I have a snark charcoal grey monsoon coat and plenty of pretty scarves if it's chilly. Black opaques and shoes does sound like a good idea. I have some wedge heeled black court style shoes that might do. I do love all the coloured tights about at the moment though and wondered about wearing maybe grey or burgundy?
