removing glue from boots

Don't ask how but I have poured superglue on my boots - they are sort of waxed looking brown ones and of course it's gone down the front of one so it's really noticable.
Has anyone any ideas what I can do apart from buy a new pair?

You are most likely buggered. You could try a fine grade sandpaper to remove the glue gently (the glue remover solutions are likely to make the stain bigger and worse) and then try to blend the mark away with a wax replacement spray and the warmth of your fingers...that probablysounds quite vague - sorry!

You could try and remove the glue with paint thinner but it will remove the wax too and leave a mark.

btw...I worked for russell and bromley for years and removed paint from someones wax boots once - hence my answer...it's the best method I can think of
