I love Decleor Hydra Floral

but you prob could do with a facial oil underneath also by Decleor

MissFoodie · 21/02/2012 20:08

what's your budget and do you have any special requirements?
what have you been using so far?

FabMum1 · 21/02/2012 21:22

Im using an Elemis cleanser n toner plus a high st moisturiser, oil of Olay eye gel. But my skin needs more.
I don't want to spend too much, nothing to expensive. But any suggestions are welcomed with open arms x

Keep things the same but add in a facial oil or serum under your moisturiser. Elemis bliss capsules are good but expensive. I personally use decleor - you can get a 5ml bottle of decleor aromessence neroli on ebay for £10 (free pandp) and used morning and night it will last a month so a good way to try it out. There will probably be lots of good offers on qvc for it on sunday as it is a decleor special value (def worth a look).

shopafrolic · 22/02/2012 16:24

Elemis pro collagen day and night creams are amazing but pricey. For something more natural and more affordable I choose Liz Earle creams. And their hot polish cleanser is amazing!

You can shop on their website by skin concern.........

shopafrolic · 22/02/2012 16:29

Meant to say - Elemis eye cream also great. And I've just bought this foundation:
www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ChanelProduct_10001_10001_59452_2378494_-1?jspStoreDir=Debenhams&ddkey=DebExternalProductDisplay
but this is also supposed to be great if you want something less pricey

mrsmartin · 22/02/2012 16:29

shopafrolic if you like cleanse and polish you would probably love the Elemis pro radience cream cleanser - it is like C&P delux...facial in a bottle...I heart it!!

shopafrolic · 22/02/2012 17:33

mrsmartin I already own that too Blush I think I have a skincare, shoe, clothing addiction

FabMum1 · 22/02/2012 20:56

Mrsmartin - I shall definitely be tuning into QVC on Sunday for the Decleor TSV
Shopafrolic - Have used C&P before, may try it again

So if I continue using my Elemis cleanser (maybe add on C&P), a spritz of my Elemis Toner (or a swipe?) introduce an oil, maybe neroli but what moisturiser? Don't like the one I'm using plus am desperate for an eye product.
Also, should I use a different moisturiser at bedtime?

Thank you so much ladies x

I always use a day cream and a night cream. See Elemis recommendations above. You need a moisture boost at night.
Face mask or peel once a week. And a serum under my day cream if I need a boost.

RatDesPaquerettes · 22/02/2012 21:06

In my routine, I use the customised version of this cream preceded by the Aromessence Neroli from Decleor. One of the key factors for me is to avoid chemicals though, which may not be a big requirement for you....

shopafrolic · 22/02/2012 21:29

fabmum1 in terms of eye cream I use No7 P&P intense or the pricey but AMAZING new Dior Capture Totale Eyes Essential. Sorry no links - am on my BlackBerry

FabMum1 · 22/02/2012 21:35

Shopaholic - never thought of P&P, maybe an option.
I'm just so desperate for something that works, my skin needs a boost and my eyes need something special too x

Well...I didn't want to say anything until I was sure it was having some sort of effect but I have been doing the 1 eye test with DH using the decleor hydrotenser eye serum. However, he got home an hour ago and there is definately an improvement in his crows feet and the hydration levels around his eyes. Been using it on him for about 2 weeks (I tend to test them out on him as well as myself as he actually has wrinkles!!). On me it does have a temporary plumping effect but no longer lasting results.

The gatineau melatogenine eye concentrate always gets rave reviews in the beauty mags too. I just use my pcmc as my eyecream as I don't need anything heavier yet.

I will recommend pcmc and hydrafloral until the cows come home - they are both excellent. I think you would really like decleor night balms - you wake up to plump glowy skin that looks so good you don't want to wash your face!!! but the effects do stay....Wink

FabMum1 · 22/02/2012 22:01

QVC here I come, Decleor and Elemis, here is my list

  • neroli oil
  • decleor night balm and moisturiser

What about Tri Enzyme, any good?

OP posts:
mrsmartin · 22/02/2012 22:15

I love tri enzymes - it is a resurfacing regime so if you want to give your skin a kick up the arse and make it loads smoother and brighter this is the kit I would go for (don't bother getting another night cream if you get that kit - the night cream in that kit will last 3 to 4 months. And it's on easy pay - yay Smile

mrsmartin · 22/02/2012 22:16

don't forget to wait till sunday for decleor...

RatDesPaquerettes · 23/02/2012 14:17

On www.cheapsmells.com/, if you spend more than 25GBP on Decleor products (fairly easy to do!) before 26 February and enter 'Freetreat' at checkout, you get a free mini Decleor something with your order (I have not quite sussed out what it is although I have placed an order...)

ArcticRoll · 23/02/2012 15:23

Origins Starting Over moisturiser is great and their Plantscription serum and eye cream.

FabMum1 · 23/02/2012 19:12

Oh mrsmartin loving that tri-enzyme kit from qvc. Should I order that or wait for the Decleor TSV x

Help

OP posts:
mrsmartin · 23/02/2012 20:50

considering when you first posted you said your main concerns were dehydration and your eyes I would say get the decleor tsv - it has full size hydrafloral, full size neroli oil (which will sort out the dehydration) and the prolagene gel can be used around the eyes (now we know what the tsv is I say go for the decleor tsv and bear the tri-enzymes in mind if you still aren't happy with the texture of your skin in 3 or 4 months time - even then you would prob only try the wash at first).

Hope that makes sense Smile

FabMum1 · 23/02/2012 21:03

Brill, thanks mrsm, you are brill Smile
