Spring me up Scotty - what do I wear?

From September through to Easter hols I drift along quite merrily in my floaty dresses/ tunic tops over leggings or skinnies finished off by a variety of luffly boots. The dresses are smarter and sometimes worn with very opaque tights and jackets for work, floral or patterned for weekends and boots can be funkier in shape and colour. If this is your typical look help me to adapt mine for spring.
Size 14/16 - 5,6 - big of boob and tum but shapely of leg.
What will I do for spring? Love birkies for weekends and holidays but to wear with what? And what work look do you suggest? TIA

keep with dresses, just switch opaques to nudes and go for more jersey and cotton dresses in brighter colours. Get a smart pair of shoes for work and if you like birks then go for birks (personally hate them but that's what keeps us all looking individual eh?). A pair of tan boots (think 70's style) will see you through on days where it is sunny but cold.

With nude tights and perhaps these?

Its shoes that worry me.
Love the idea of tan boots and can see them being well worn as I'm Scottish the sunny is less frequent that the cold.
Could I carry off:

I just don't suit jeans and really feel dowdy in trousers for work, as a result stepping away from my leggings and boots is painful.
