do they come up big?

if you mean the canvas slip ons then they are wide but pretty much to size in length. If your DC is an F or narrower then they may need an insole for a few weeks is all.

In that case they pretty much fit to size - I'm guessing he is a teenager which means if he has abit of extra room it isn't a bad thing - they just grow stupidly fast in all sorts of directions!!!

IME they fit to size. I tend to buy them with a kittle room to grow since they are lace ups. The Half Cab high tops are fab. I wouldn't buy the slip ons as I don't think they'd survive the punishment of the skatepark.

The first pair I bought I thought this is a ridiculous price to pay for kids shoes, but they lasted really well.
