And if you have, is it any good? I normally use nivea tinted moisturiser but have seen this and wondered if it's worth the money.

I love it, but it's strictly for those who like a dewey look. If you're after a matte effect, it's not for you.

Got some free samples recently. Loved the texture of it and that it'st SPF 15, it went on beautifully but unfortunately the shades didn't work for me, the pale is very light, and the medium is quite dark.

If you can get the right shade then definitely go for it.

Dollydowser · 19/02/2012 10:48

Yes I've been using it since Christmas. I've lost count of the number of compliments I've had since then about how well I look and how lovely my skin is Grin

mrsmartin · 19/02/2012 13:26

it is lovely but even Liz herself recommends that everyone gets two shades...

ProlificYoungGentlemenBreeder · 19/02/2012 13:47

Do you need moisturiser too?
What's the coverage like?

I love her moisturiser it seems to really suit my skin.
I'm very late to the Liz Earle party!

mrsmartin · 19/02/2012 15:15

It is just her version of make up - quite moisturising but you should still use your moisturiser. The coverage is sheer but can be built up to a light coverage - it isn't going to cover blemishes.

mrsmartin · 19/02/2012 15:20

prolific - I'm not saying buy this kit but if you watch the video (purple link under the picture) on this page it will give you a good idea of what the skin tint is like Smile

Housewife2010 · 19/02/2012 15:52

I would recommend that you give Liz Earle a ring & ask for some samples. Then you can try before you buy. I've started using it & it's lovely.

KandyBarr · 19/02/2012 20:36

Good idea, Housewife - she's pretty generous with the samples. I just ordered Skin Tint as a birthday present to be posted directly to my sister, and a packet of samples of moisturisers arrived for me.

ProlificYoungGentlemenBreeder · 20/02/2012 20:31

Can you just call them and they will do that?
Trying to get to my nearest stockist is far too much hassle with 2dc in tow!

Thank you mrsmartin for your link.

Prolific

The customer service women are lovely at Liz Earle. They've won loads of awards for being so nice. If you ring them & tell them you fancy the product but would like some samples, they'll be fine about it.

ProlificYoungGentlemenBreeder · 21/02/2012 10:34

Really? I love Liz just that little bit more now!
I will tell them the ladies on mumsnet have been saying how great they are.
In the last week I have experienced some shocking customer service!

ComradeJing · 21/02/2012 14:32

I love it. I'm the lightest shade and it suits me perfectly. Its a nice youthful, natural look.

Amaretti · 21/02/2012 14:34

I like it. I can get a bit shiny, so I put clinique loose powder over it on my nose and forehead.

chardom · 21/02/2012 19:39

Thanks for all your replies. Sounds like it will be lovely and light for my spring/summer face. I will phone LE and ask if they will send me some samples.

I did call & no samples! Unless I buy their products.
So I need to wait until my bday Sad

mrsmartin · 22/02/2012 16:19

prolific I suspect there will be lots of samples floating around on ebay because they have been included in alot of the qvc kits recently - worth a gander...

mrsmartin · 22/02/2012 16:35

just had a look on ebay - about £1.50 for 1 sachet (on average - some people are selling in 2's and 3's). For colours, Bare is the palest, Beige is the medium and Beach is the darkest (so porcelain, medium, tanned caucasion). I know you would have to pay for them but at least you aren't forking out £20something pounds for a full size without knowing if you like it...
