Problem with Uggs

My big toe has created a thin patch - which, I fear, may break through.

Anyone had this problem - and found a solution?....they're still in good nick otherwise.

I was thinking of using a pair of these on my boots when I got a small rip in them. Decided to go with fabric glue instead, which is holding up nicely. But still might need the patch in the long run.

I would cover them in little studs and crystals a'la jimmy choo if mine died...
