Does anyone do their own false nails?

If you do what do you use and how well do they last? How do you make them last and could I cut them shorter?

I am trying to grow my nails but not very good at it. I am only looking for max of 3/4 cm above nail bed. I love painting my nails in odd designs but that is so hard to do on your own nails and would be easier if I could paint nails first then put them on.

I have in the past, but not anymore. I always carried some nail glue with me and then if one came off, I would simply glue it back on. Ive always bought full nails and just painted over them. Dead easy. Im not a big fan of them now though.

Just because Id rather having looking more natural and just prefer to grow my own.

Ah right fair enough. I would too if they weren't all different shapes and had wonky tips.

Or doing Gel/Acrylic nails?
