My skin is unbelievably oily, within an hour of applying mineral make up (or any other kind, have tried them all) a sheen appears which gets steadily worse and I look awful by lunchtime.
Have tried all sorts of primers, with varying success, but nothing has really made much difference. I was doing some 'research' online the other night and stumbled upon something called 'OC8', it's a mattifier which absorbs the oil on your skin. Claims to keep it oil free for up to 8 hours. Reviews looked quite good so I ordered it.
Tried it for the first time yesterday and omg, it actually works! My skin stayed completely matte until lunchtime and even by 3pm it only had a slight sheen to it. I have never had results like this before with anything so thought I'd share with you as I'm sure there's someone else out there with skin like mine.
I also ordered some Benefit Porefessional which I used over the top of the OC8 today and it's also really good, made a big difference to the size of my pores.
I'm feeling quite good about my skin today :)
