Best beauty balms ???

I'm a tinted moisturiser devotee ( Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Becca, By Terry) but thought I might give one of these blemish balms which seem to be evrywhere a try.

Which do people recommend? My skin is not oily and is 'mature' but well maintained. I don't like much coverage. And I don't want to try any 'budget' options. It's probably irrational as well as extravagant but I like to stick with premium-ish brands (but I like, eg, a lot of Clinique stuff which I'd say is mid-range).

Well on Saturday I bought the Estee Lauder daywear BB and I love it! It smells nice (cucumbery?) and has a lovely texture, stays on all day (I just use a bit of powder to set it but I don't think that's necessary) covers flaws and doesn't cake. And I've had a nasty bit of eczema on the side of my jaw for about two months which has improved hugely since starting the BB. I much prefer it to doublewear light (my foundation of choice before). My skin is definitely "mature" and this really works well without being to drying. Sorry for sounding like a salesperson! I do really like it though!

Thanks, that was definitely one I was thinking of.

I have been using the Garnier one for ages and love it, makes my skin look as if it's in soft focus! Got a free sample of the EL one and think it was just as good - only more expensive.
