How to avoid static from tights???

I wear opaque tights fairly often and they always cling to the lining of my skirts/dresses. Any suggestions on how to avoid this?

I found rubbing hand cream onto my hands, then smoothing over the tights works a treat!

Or hairspray. Rub a bit between your hands and smooth it over your tights.

(Do I get points for coming up with the same tip two days in a row?)

Thanks for that, read something about putting a safety pin on the hem too? Will try this Saturday and hopefully something will work!
