I quite like Dress for less.
TK Maxx is fab for handbags.

Cocosa - they have some fab stuff on there.

Whats you're budget/preference on a handbag?

GillyMac93 · 14/02/2012 17:58

Thanks will have a look :) Budgets up to £400 , i really fancy a mulberry bayswater but i just cant stretch to that much for a bag , i was thinking maybe a marc jacobs or peony & moore?what would you ladies recommend for an investment bag ?

Second TK Maxx for bags. I've recently bought a lovely Patrick Cox one for DD and an Osprey one for me. They were both massively discounted.

BrandAlley...????

sue52 · 14/02/2012 18:02

There's a Mulberry outlet near Oxford if you're down that way.

warmandwooly · 14/02/2012 18:32

Mulberry outlet @ York too! If you want a Bayswater they sometimes have outlet/factory specials (usually without the cloche and feet)

I think there are some great bags out there for under £400, tbh I wouldn't spend more than £250 as I think above that you are purely paying for a label.

I've bought from Peony&Moore, quality is beautiful and i've used my Lucia for a year and it looks as good as day I bought it, very soft leather - they've some lovely new lines in for spring.

Also like Tabitha bags, Oushka & Red Direct have a good selection too. I tend to like independent labels more than the high street, just because I think I'm getting better quality for my money. So many of High Street bags (and designer tbh) are made in far east with tough leather. I prefer soft squidgey leather from Italy or spain.. but that's a personal thing and I'm a bag addict!

I love Brand Alley.

I bought a gorgeous Edina Ronay bag today in TK Maxx, should have been £179 and I got it for £69.
