Paperbag, peg or cigarette?

Am having a clothing crisis! About to return to work from maternity leave and realise my trousers are all so dated. I have a couple of pairs of wide leg, dark grey & black tweed ones which I think I can wear with ballet pumps (can I?!) & a tight, bright twinset but the rest are all bootcut (and very babby bootcut at that). TBH, I was always a bit self-conscious about my shape pre-pregnancy and wore much clingier things when/since I've had a bump than before. Am a size 8-10 and fairly tall but my DH always said I tended to swamp myself in loose clothes and now I realise he was right..Blush.

Been checking other threads on here and see cigarette pants mentioned a lot but when I googled it, they seem to be very similar to paperbag and/or peg trousers? Are they all the same thing? I will have just over an hour tomorrow to make a targeted assault on my local shops (there is a New Look, Dorothy Perkins and Primark) so was going to whittle down a few options online and hope they have them in store. All wisdom appreciated!

Cigarette pants are flat-fronted and 7/8 length.

Peg trousers are a relic of the 80s pleat-fronted.

Paperbag waist is when the waistband is high and loosely gathered.

...I think. Confused

Ah! Thanks. Peg trousers are out then.. Think pleats will just make me look Mumsy. Would prefer full length as my height can make me look like I've just got the wrong size if they're shorter! Think I may need to hit the big smoke and some more shops..
