De-bobbling sweaters

What do you use? The plastic comb doesn't seem to work very well so I think I need an actual shaver. There is an Alessi one which has some good reviews on Amazon, but I'm not sure whether I'd be paying for design over function (as I often wonder with their products). Any recommendations?

An ordinary cheap disposable razor does a good job.

I use the hair trimmer and cut holes in my jumpers

I've got one of those battery operated shaver thingmys designed for the purpose from John Lewis. But, yes, a bic razor will do the job just as well.

I've been a bit over enthusiastic with a cheap razor in the past - and nicked holes in my knitwear so I wouldn't advise (you may be less clumsy than me though!).

I bought a battery operated debobbler thing from Lakeland - £5, money well spent I think.

I also have the battery operated thing from Lakeland Wink and it is very good.
