I am looking for a replacement for my no7 translucent powder. I am not sure what has changed but it is now looking almost chalky on me so i need something that will set my foundation that is invisible and non chalky. What would do the job and look good????

I swear by Clinique loose powder in 'Invisible'. Absolutely no colour and really finely milled. I've never used anything else.

Mac studio fix powder is brilliant, They do finishing powders that are translucent too but studio fix is more like the no7 one you use, only a million times better and well worth the extra money.

I've always used Lancome loose powder. It is sheer and lasts for ages

Clinique Gentle Light

(I think it might be discontinued though)

Mac Blot Powder is good - very sheer and doesn't add colour, just blots efficiently.

Mac blot powder is perfect.

MAC Prep & Prime powder. very fine White powder but invisible on, not drying and little goes a long way. Apparently E.L.F cosmetics Studio High Definition powder is identical (but cheaper!)
