Really decent leggings needed

I'm looking for some leggings to wear with a couple of tunic dresses. Never worn leggings when not pg before! Can anyone recommend any good quality thick ones that won't go floppy and baggy after a few wears please? Had some brilliant maternity ones from H&M.

I am trying to find the same thing! Although I do begrudge paying £30 for a pair!

mrsmartin · 12/02/2012 22:16

I get mine from everything£5 they don't bag at all and have a 'suck in' effect

Clure · 12/02/2012 23:43

primark shape control £4 best leggings ever

mumzy · 13/02/2012 18:40

Saw some really nice thick treggings in M&S today £19.50 v comfy!

BikeRunSki · 13/02/2012 18:41

I like that site MrsMartin! and also like the idea of £4 leggings being best ever.

Cheap leggings never last ime. The m&s treggings are lasting really well and are not shiny/see through either

Clure · 13/02/2012 18:56

Have to say the primark ones are thick, slight sheen but have so far lasted three seasons (I live and die in them in the winter)

Gillybobs · 13/02/2012 19:02

Mint Velvet leggings are amazing, great quality cotton, high waist band so never need to hoik them up and a small amount of ruching at the ankle so they look v pretty. Normally £15 a pair but 20% off this month if you use the code RED. They do black, navy, grey and chocolate. Cant recommend them highly enough

maydarnaychild · 13/02/2012 19:11

When do you enter red? Before credit card page??? It wants me to click past credit card
On iPhone though...

Pseudonymity · 13/02/2012 19:25

Surprised at people recommending the primark leggings. I found them too short, falling down and not made of cotton but that kind of 'leotard' material that makes your legs really cold. What am I missing about them?

scottishmummy · 13/02/2012 19:38

fab site mrs Martin

CountessOlenska · 13/02/2012 19:46

Gillybobs , what's the sizing like on the Mint Velvet ones? I am quite tall and, ahem, not thin.

I like the look of them, and am tempted.

Gillybobs · 13/02/2012 19:51

countess Im 5 7" and a 14-16 and the Large are fine on me. I could maybe have gotten away with the Medium but I prefer not to stretch the fabric and make them look thinner iyswim

Gillybobs · 13/02/2012 19:54

may the promo code goes directly under your basket items on the Shopping Bag page.

CountessOlenska · 13/02/2012 19:54

O, sounds good, will get them ordered, thanks Smile

south345 · 13/02/2012 19:56

My Jeggings from new look are the best ones I have, their basic ones don't sag but aren't the best after washing.

monkeysmama · 13/02/2012 19:57

I really like Boden ones.

maydarnaychild · 13/02/2012 20:06

Got it gilly
Promptly ordered as this is same price I paid for last ones in top shop !
These look much better shape. like the look of this mint velvet.

I made a £700 wish list and emailed it to DH. It will remain just that! A wish.

Gillybobs · 13/02/2012 20:11

I love Mint Velvet may Well, lots of it. They occasionally go overboard with the ruffles : / Everything I've bought from them, I've worn loads.

scottishmummy · 13/02/2012 21:46

Gillybobs · 14/02/2012 12:08
