Am currently using decleor, and my skin is fine, but its sooo expensive.

Browsing in JL today and saw the Liz Earle counter, was very attracted by the price and simplicity of it all, at the moment i have cleanser, toner, oil to go under moisturiser, moisturiser, and night balm. This seems much simpler.
So i bought the try me kit with the cleanse and polish, 2 cloths, toner and moisturiser.

So who uses it? Do you find it good? I am 36 with fair skin, lots of lines but rarely get spots. Do you cleanse, tone and moisturise at night as well as in the morning?
trying to decide whether to use up my decleor or just change now, am dying to try it [smie]

I love liz earle but could never give up my decleor neroli!

cyb · 12/02/2012 19:23

Doesnt everyone on here use it (I dont, found it too creamy)

But you shoudl buy on QVC, better deals and can send back if not happy

I'm a decleor gal, get it online from CheapSmells. Much cheaper!

mosschops30 · 12/02/2012 19:25

Yes i buy from cheap smells, but when you buy oil and moisturiser that alone is £55, its just too much.
I can take the Liz Earle back to JL if i dont get on with it

I use cleanse and polish and have done for years. I occasionally change to something else but always come back to liz Earle.

I don't bother with the skin tonic any more but I have very spotty skin due to my PCOS and I use a spot buster from soap and glory at night instead.
I use the light moisturiser during the day and I use a Clinique super hydrating one at night.
I also use the nourishing face mask once a week in the bath.

anniewoo · 12/02/2012 20:02

When you buy cosmetics online how do you know they are authentic?

mosschops30 · 12/02/2012 20:05

Cheapsmells is fine, have also used beautyflash and zest beauty, oh and amazon.

Cleanse and Polish here, and I don't use the tonic either.

I use the moisturiser for dry/sensitive skin day and night, but also use the super concentrate oil once or twice a week at night too. I also use the moisturising mask once a week too.

hermioneweasley · 12/02/2012 20:07

Used to use Liz Earle. Now use oil cleansing method (google it if interested) and love it. And it costs pennies.

mrsmartin · 12/02/2012 20:13

I don't like cleanse and polish - the smell puts me off to be honest. Much prefer the new elemis pro radience crem cleanser. Still use a hot cloth though. Elemis and decleor are my brands of chice - they just work for me.

Always use toner people....

shopalot · 12/02/2012 22:56

I love LE and use it all. I find I have to use the tonic as I have fairly dry skin. I use c&p at night to take make up off and tonic, moisturiser. But in the morning I just sweep over with the tonic on cotton wool and don't bother with the c&p. I also use the superskn oil a few times a week at night and have some of the other treats as well. I am sure you will love it op.

CervixWithASmile · 12/02/2012 22:59

I do the same routine as Shopalot.

BoobyBrown · 12/02/2012 23:14

Have been using Liz Earle for years now.

Really notice a difference if I switch to something else for a change so always come back to it.

I have combination, spot prone, occasionally dry, awkward skin.

I use the cleanse and polish, the instant boost skin tonic toner (because I love the smell of it, very fresh), the dry/sensitive skin repair moisturiser, and often use the superskin concentrate oil when skin needs an extra boost.

Did not like the superskin moisturiser or the deep cleansing mask.

Have used the nourishing treatment mask and exfoliating scrub. Like them both but can do without them.

Usually get mine straight from the Liz Earle website, sometime QVC, and occasionally Ebay.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 13/02/2012 00:07

I love it.

I use C&P, not the toner at the moment although I'm going to start again because it does make a difference. Then at night I also use the Superskin facial oil.

I have also got the mask, which I really like because it almost instantly makes any random spots get smaller and less red.

I've only ever bought from JL, I really should shop around a bit!

anniewoo · 13/02/2012 17:01

I dislike intenesly the smell of liz earle hand and body creams. Any one else notice?

gregssausageroll · 13/02/2012 17:44

I am the same as noddy up top. Love LE stuff. Have tried decleorhot cloth cleanser and the elemis. For my kin they are not a patch on Liz.

EllenRose · 14/02/2012 14:26

I use the C&P, Toner and Moisturiser and love it. It made such a difference to my skin and I really notice a difference if I swap to something else. I have been incredibly lazy and just bought from LE website but really should shop around.

MuslinSuit · 14/02/2012 15:24

I use C+P, love the smell and it just makes my skin glow . I don't get on with the moisturiser though, or the other bits.

DickSwivellersTidyWife · 14/02/2012 15:29

I like the C+P, and the superskin moisuriser, I have very dry skin. Love the orange blossom body wash too. Am a product tart though and not using it at the moment, my skin is quite crap now.

I find ordering direct from the LE website or brochure usually cheapest as they have regular offers on plus only one P and P charge rather than QVCs extortionate postage rates. I have been known to make an exception for a Today's Special Value though

SianBB · 14/02/2012 15:33

Have used Liz Earle but switched to Eve Lom which IMO is FAR superior. Incredible stuff and my only essential beauty product.

It is a little on the expensive side but a pot lasts absolutely ages do don't be put off by price.

wildfig · 14/02/2012 15:35

I use the C&P - with my own flannels, though, can't be doing with the muslins - and the dry/sensitive Skin Repair moisturiser at night (need an SPF for day) with the Superskin concentrate as a treatment underneath. It makes my skin glowy and very soft. The toner smells and feels nice, but I'm not convinced it's essential, despite the semi-desperate insistence on QVC that it is. I also really really love the Liz Earle fragrance, though it doesn't really smell like any of the products, oddly.

If you buy from the LE website you usually get a free sample size in your package, which is nice. If you buy from the shop you can choose which one!

MuslinSuit · 14/02/2012 16:41

I use baby muslins for the C+P Smile

chocolatespiders · 14/02/2012 17:21

I use the c and p on dd who has poor skin.. I dont use the muslin cloths, I buy the 7 pack of flannels from childrens bit in Ikea then wash them as and when in machine.
