Apparently we're going to a rave(!) in 20 minutes(!!) - what shall I wear?!

Long story and yes we'll be the oldest people there by 10 years but anyway!

I am a frumpy size 14.

I am thinking either: teal wooly ribbed tights, black chiffony skirt, black naice t-shirt with swirly brown and silver pattern on it, hoodie (it'll be cold), brown DMs.

or

Black jeans, long Bench tunic this, hoodie.

or something else. None of my trendy-ish clothes fit!

Help :(

(it's brown DMs or black knee-length MUM BOOTS)

Wear comfy shoes in case you have to run from the po-po.

it's not an illegal rave. That'd be fun to explain at the school gates after half term!

black jeans, nice loose top, comfy shoes and plenty of deoderant!

FauxFox · 10/02/2012 21:31

Love the Bench hoodie...wear jeans and comfy boots (it will be too dark for peeps to see your feet anyway) Just chuck some clothes on and go mad with dramatic eye make-up and have lots and lots of fun!

No advice. Just well jel.

whitsunday · 10/02/2012 21:40

Aww I wish some other MNers were going to be there. I'm worried I'm going to feel old and inappropriate like the sister in Knocked Up trying to get into the club.

So jealous. Have an amazing night.

And don't feel old- feel superior- you'll be able to remember half the tracks the first time they came out Wink

chocoroo · 10/02/2012 21:41

Having said I have no advice, I would favour the Bench tunic I think.

And lots and lots of eye make-up and random hair.

Everyone loves abit of 'born slippy' on a Friday night - if you know it and you like it (you will) then you will fit right in. :o
