What is cool in the world of watches these days?

I have had a d and g watch for about 5 years, black leather strap with a silver square face, quite chunky. I have had the strap replaced once but think it has finally come to the end of its life. Any suggestions for nice watches to look at? Quite like chunky styles. Modest budget, £300 max!

Michael Kors watches are "cool" if you mean popular/fashionable? Quite a few in your price range too.

at mm - I came on to say that I have this which is helpfully out of stock at John Lewis where I bought it but you can get it elsewhere. It's lovely and although it's big it's not too blingy because it has a softer finish.

What's your style? My sister bought a lovely Marc Jacobs one from selfridges, like this -Marc Jacobs

I have a chunky white Michael Kors one, which looks ace on holiay etc and I wear at weekends etc.

I have a great stainless steel Mondial watch which I got from John Lewis
