I'm going shopping in the morning and fancy trying a BB cream. I've seen people on here talk about Garnier and No 7.

Which one is best? Or is there another I don't know about?

I have the No17 one, much cheaper then the others and I find it really good.

Not too greasy but not too heavy and chalky.

Haven't tried the others.

mrsmartin · 10/02/2012 18:06

Ive tried the garnier one - it is nice, dewy but not sticky with very sheer coverage.

There is an Estee Lauder one and if you use this link and pay £1.50 via text you can get a 5m trial of it

I'm the opposite- No 7 and garnier caused me to break out, No 17 was OK.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 10/02/2012 20:54

Garnier good for me

anniewoo · 10/02/2012 21:16

The Estée Lauder lady gave me a large sample to try of the bb cream in the medium colour. Will report back. I usually just wear bronzer tho did buy a bobbi brown tinted moisturiser but it is the wrong colour- too pale. They might take it back?

StellaAndFries · 10/02/2012 22:35

No17 is good for me and I only paid £4.99 for it when it was on offer.

BarryShitpeas · 10/02/2012 22:39

I like the Garnier one.

dingdong3 · 10/02/2012 22:42

Bought the Garnier one today on offer in Boots so can't report back until tomorrow Smile

ForwardOcho · 11/02/2012 00:29

I have the garnier one and I do find it sticky. But. It evens out my skin tone really well and I haven't had a blemish in the 4 months I have been using it, so I put up with the stickiness.

HappyHippyChick · 11/02/2012 00:30

I use the Garnier one - it's great

YourCallIsImportant · 11/02/2012 00:32

Another Garnier fan here.

LeftyLucy · 11/02/2012 01:38

Garnier has been fine for my sensitive skin too. I was surprised how much I like it.

Last cheeky bump before I head in to town Grin

I use the Garnier one and there is a definite improvement when I've used it!

cleosmycat · 11/02/2012 13:14

Loving the Garnier one, but need the light shade when normally would buy medium, good natural coverage. Have just bought the No7 and it is a lighter (not colour) coverage, also good but may keep for the summer during the day.

CMOTDibbler · 11/02/2012 13:16

I have to say I am far more pleased with the effect of the Garnier one on my skin than I thought I'd be

NoWayNoHow · 11/02/2012 13:27

The Garnier one was great in the summer - light, dewy, sheer, good coverage, but I've stopped using it in Winter as it's just too dark. Good product though I think. If you are going to get one, I'd definitely err on the safe side and get the "Fair" shade unless you're particularly olive skinned and retain colour in winter.

HarlotOTara · 11/02/2012 13:32

What is a bb cream?

wildfig · 11/02/2012 22:06

Garnier one broke me out and looked orange, but I do have quite sensitive, pale skin.

BellaVita · 11/02/2012 22:07

Thank god for that Harlot Grin. The same was going through my mind too!

StellaAndFries · 12/02/2012 07:40

BB cream is beauty balm, Usually a primer, moisturiser and foundation all in one.

Pinner35 · 12/02/2012 07:43

Garner one is good for me.

BellaVita · 12/02/2012 08:29

Thank you Stella.
