La Redoute WTAF? When do you get your order?

Ordered stuff last week. Got emails saying what was in stock what wasn't yet. A couple of days later an email saying packed and ready to go. Two days ago an email saying they were despatching half the order? Still nothing.

have only ever ordered once before, children's clothes and that took 3 weeks.

I wanted the stuff in time to try on and decide if suitable for a do this weekend.

Is this how they usually operate? Are the clothes shit? Can someone now let me know in case I need to shop in the morning.

There was a thing about La Redoute in the Guardian money section a few weeks ago - La Redoute logistical problems. Sounds like it hasn't improved since then.

am having same problem with them, placed order then a week later hadn't heard anything was told was not in stock after all but 'in reserve' for if someone returned said item, am not holding out much hope. what a ridiculous way of working, I do loads of online shopping and never encountered this before. grrrr

just read the Guardian article, completely sums up my experience with them, will avoid from now on.

i've shopped with them loads and never had any problems, i think it depends on whether the stuff needs to come from abroad, quality isn't shite but you get what you pay for and the cheaper stuff doesn't last as well.
