Great plain - quality

Two bits of my great plains sale order last month are starting to fall apart. The Constellation top has a hole the size of a penny in on the side, not even on the seam. I've worn it three times and washed it twice following instructions.

I also bought the black dress, (can't remember the name) and the seam and hems have come undone.

They were bargains and I've never bought great plains before - is this normal for them? I wondering if I should email them....

Same happened to me. I bought a top with frills on the shoulders and it went bobbly quite quickly then got a hole in it. I thought it was my washing machine but maybe not.....
I did buy that dress with the birds on and thats lasted well so maybe just type of material?

I'm not that impressed. I never really buy "expensive" clothes but thought I would treat myself to some GP stuff in the sale. I expected it to be great quality but it's just not and not washing well at all. My cheap high street stuff is better! Got a bag though (tassley brown one) and that is lovely. What with the quality and GP not being able to sort their sizing/ labelling out definately wouldn't buy at full price.

I think quality has really declined in the past 2 seasons - I'm always really careful to follow washing instructions, lay stuff out flat etc and last few things I've bought just have not lasted well. Massive shame as the SS12 stuff looks to die for...

The jeans are fine, but the coat I bought has lost two buttons and the back hem has come down already. If I had bought it full price I would be v. annoyed! As it stands, sale price seems about right for it.

Same. Finchley top. Worn a few times. Has a hole in it. Not done anything extraordinary to make the hole.
Won't bother with them again....

I wonder if some of the really reduced sale stuff is seconds/faulty returns. I sent off for a massively reduced beaded motif dress one year and it arrived with half the beads missing or falling off. Sent it back three times and every replacement had faulty beading.
