It's for a wedding in May.

What colour shoes? What about accessories? I'm completely hopeless at accessories.

Thanks in advance.

what dress? Grin

slapmeonthepatio · 09/02/2012 20:43

Oh yes - that would help Blush

this one

slapmeonthepatio · 09/02/2012 20:44

As well as being hopeless at accessories - I'm obviously hopeless at links too! Grin

a raspberry coloured shoe and maybe a corsage on the front of the dress to match?

JennyPiccolo · 09/02/2012 20:55

OR a navy clutch with flowers pinned to it.

dingdong3 · 09/02/2012 22:30

It's gorgeous slapme. I love navy!
You can't do a belt on it so you'd be looking a fab pair of shoes - I love these pink ones Not sure why I am drawn to pink. If you were brave, you could do the neon thing with it?
Or, if you want to play it safer, these from Next

JennyPiccolo · 09/02/2012 23:01

I'm feeling pink with it too. Will make the navy glisten.

JennyPiccolo · 09/02/2012 23:02

Also you need to make it look weddingy and not like workwear, so nothing too dark.

lisaro · 09/02/2012 23:08

What's your colouring, slap?

FauxFox · 10/02/2012 08:05

spotty shoes and red pashmina and or bag?

orange looks good with navy? Maybe with a blazer?

metallic with bows

FauxFox · 10/02/2012 08:07

Or if you like the idea of pink I like these beautiful shoes...

Ifancyashandy · 10/02/2012 08:13

YY to hot pink shoes. Or gold also looks fab with navy.

slapmeonthepatio · 10/02/2012 11:49

Ooh - only just seen I have replies!!

I have dark hair, dark eyes and pale-ish/freckled skin.

I am 38 - so I would be wary of looking like I was trying to look like I wasn't - If that makes sense?

I like the idea of pink shoes...

slapmeonthepatio · 10/02/2012 11:56

These?

or, perhaps these?

Any good?

I don't know what's happened - I haven't shopped in Dorothy Perkins for years.

think the style jennypiccolo suggested would work best, the first one you suggested looks too clumpy, the second one looks too work-like. are the heels too high for you in the other options?

slapmeonthepatio · 10/02/2012 12:16

I can't do really high heels - and I'll most likely be carrying (at some point) a wriggly toddler.

I did like the ones jennypiccolo suggested - it was just the height thing.

soaccidentprone · 10/02/2012 12:35

I'd go for something a bit more unusual, but also a bit more practical like these

cocobongo · 10/02/2012 15:50

what about something like
these

not too high, but quite funky

cocobongo · 10/02/2012 15:52

or what about stylish flats?

these are expensive but you could look for a cheaper version

slapmeonthepatio · 10/02/2012 16:54

Here are some from H&M

Here

and [http://www.hm.com/gb/product/95863?article=95863-E here]].

Not sure if they're the right pink though...

OP posts:
slapmeonthepatio · 10/02/2012 16:55

I told you I couldn't do link! Here you go: these

lisaro · 10/02/2012 18:22

Ha ha, this has really taken off, think the pink will go beautifully with your colouring, slap. OR even a pale green or turqouse. Enjoy the wedding.
