johnnie b jeans sizing?

i have been looking at the skinny jeans in the sale, but they only seem to have 32" left in a few colours. i cant find out what dress size this equates to? 32 waist is usually a 14??

secondly at nearly 40 should i even be considering wearing jeans designed for beautiful, skinny teenagers?!

If they are still the same size as the ones I bought 2 years ago you need to go one size up to normal, as they are cut for skinny teenagers. I am 54, and probably the oldest Johnnie B wearer (?)

I'm wearing the 32 skinnies, I would usually be a 10 but have just had a baby so would say more like 12, they are big on the waist and tight on the calf.

I'm a 10/12 and ordered the 10 but was unable to get them past my hips.
The 32" fit brilliantly so I'd say they are a smallish 12.

I wear the 32 skinnies too and am a 10/12 and the fit for me is exactly as snake describes. Best jeans I've bought for a long time though and dont worry about age...I'm almost 40 too!

Can anyone tell me about johnnie B sizing in general. I am a size 8 in boden knitwear - what size would I be in Johnnie B? Medium or large?

shelley72 · 09/02/2012 19:33

thanks, i am a 10 (in most shops) and usually a boden 10 so will try the 32 anyway - i always have the gaping waist problem so i can always get a belt! £17 is too much a bargain to miss!!!

Just in case....the denim is very "dirty" looking.
I have some from last year and they are a nice dark denim - I sent this years back as I'm old and don't want my jeans to look unwashedSmile.
