Difficult Challenge Here ...

I have a challenge for you all .
I am 5ft 2in , size 20 , and 6 months ago I had a mastectomy .
I haven't had a reconstruction yet , so I am still having to cope with a (mahoooosive) false boob in my G cup bra . (am I painting a nice enough picture for you all yet ? Grin )

I am looking for a dress for a girly weekend . Nothing too partyish , maybe something that can be dressed up or down .
As if I wasn't handicapped enough with the height and weight issues , I also have to deal with cleavage issues .
I know that V necks suited me pre surgery , but because I have quite a short distance between my shoulders and my cleavage everything I see is too low cut .
There's nothing more disconcerting than catching sight of your own false boob trying to make a break for it out of a top that's too low cut !

So ladies , if you could find me a dress for under £100 (preferably quite a lot under !) I would be eternally greatful !

Oh by the way , I'm 42 . But a young 42 < checks mirror , ignores wrinkles >

Oh I forgot to say that there is a head shot of me on my profile . But I now have an inch of hair all over due to chemo . It's growing back , honest !

I have no idea...but hopefully an expert will come along soonSmile

KristinaM · 09/02/2012 00:28

Oooh, that spotty DP one is LOVELY

topsyturner · 09/02/2012 08:29

Thanks Custy
Really like that spotty one , but it's definitely not a sedate lunch type weekend Grin
And love the shape of the coral twist shape dress , but not sure it's right for my colouring .
Now if I could find the coral twist in the snake fabric ...

Have a look at the rest of the DP dresses. They have (or did just before Christmas) a leopard print one with a twist waist that is very flattering.

topsyturner · 09/02/2012 08:36

Thanks Monkeys will go have a bimble through the website now .

Choose a dress that you like and would suit you, ant then get a bra bib or Cami to go underneath it?

Also a nice necklace draws the eye p from the V to help your confidence - not that you need confidence I peeked at your profile, you are very pretty Envy

topsyturner · 09/02/2012 09:25

This for travelling in . Will team it with black opaques , black boots , and black slouchy cardigan ?

I'd say stick with the neckline that suited you presurgery, but wear something under to cover the cleavage.

topsyturner · 09/02/2012 09:27

Thanks Faux love that Wallis one with the red flower pattern .

Honey Blush thankyou !
I do layer with vest tops for day wear , just wanted to wear summat without having to do the Granny Foundation Garment thing ... Grin

KristinaM · 09/02/2012 12:54

Tis not granny . Its cool and on trend layering. I have to wear vest tops or camis under most tops and dresses due to ample bosoms, and i am size 8. Its a body shape thing rather than a size thing Smile

Honeydragon · 09/02/2012 14:29

I had the bra bib things as a wardrobe staple as I like the Avon ones but after my Mum had her mastectomy she nicked them all Grin
