Good moisturiser for dry skin?

Hi everyone. I hope someone can give me some suggestions.

After years of having greasy skin and trying desperately to dry it out and stop the shine, I now find myself at the other extreme. My skin, particularly around my nose, my forehead and my chin, are insanely dry. I've used Nivea Creme for a long time, but it no longer seems to be doing the trick. It just doesn't feel like it absorbs into my skin properly. Within half an hour of moisturising I feel tight and flaky again. Not nice.

So, can anyone recommend a good moisturiser that will get my skin feeling soft and lovely again?

Oh, and er, preferably not a product that will break the bank!

Thanks

I've been having dry 'break-outs' too and have found a real gem in Mama Mio Mighty Moisture www.mamamio.com/uk/face/mighty-moisture.html It?s the only moisturiser that doesn?t bring me out in zits but still makes me feel plumped up and stops the flakiness. Good luck! ;)

I use Aveeno or Oil of Olay.

My skin is very dry.

I slap on Aveeno at night and Dermalogica with a high SPF for daytime.

I avoid using any cleansing products - just a warm flannel and the oil cleansing method once or twice a week if my skin is feeling really tight. Every week or so I also give myself a facial massage with rose oil from Neals Yard.
