NYDJ ... are they worth it?

In recent weeks I've returned jeans from Precis, Boden, M & S. Am now so fed up, I'm thinking of pushing the boat out.

What do you think?

Depends if you are over 70 or not.

Try Levis or Uniqlo.

Ages ago I bought some, being stupid and believing the publicity and all the decoration studs and bits fell off in the wash. It is hard to get them to fit properly as well, and they do look very much like elderly lady jeans. And the crotch area went all wrinkly so that I looked like I had man bits inside my old lady jeans, so never again. Just not worth the money. Try Gap instead. Much cheaper, better fit and younger style, without being muttony.

Have to disagree with others here-I think they're great! Yes they are v pricey and not cutting edge fashion, but they are by far the best fitting/comfortable jeans I've ever owned. I've got 3 pairs and after years of never being able to find jeans to fit (i'm a pretty average size 14) I won't be buying anything else.

I've got a pair. Had them about a year. Am size 12, but have been a size 16 and always dreaded buying jeans.
Mine don't have any decoration on them that any normal jeans wouldn't have and nothing has dropped off them.
I think they look absolutely fine, not sure what's old lady about them, although I am 52 but think I look pretty OK these days in my clothes.
But, I also have some jeans / cotton casual jeans type from M&S which I think look just as good, if not better than NYDJ at a fraction of the cost.
