Laser hair removal

Anyone had laser hair removal? Are there differen types? Which one is the best?

bump.... never tried it... stuck on shaving. waxed once and nearly died. tried an epilator - agony! and never got the growing out before you can do it again.... but i have to admit, a little curious about laser.... sounds scary.

Am going for 7th visit for laseer on face later this afternoon. Thought it would have been sorted by now but hair is very dark and coars. Having said that I have only shaved twice in 7 weeks - so things musrt be improving. Expensive but worth it.

Are there different types of laser treatments or are they all the same? Just wondering what I should be looking for when I do my research.

I had it through SkIn clinics - don't know which type sorry. It's definitely made a difference - I have chin hairs, but after a year some are coming back so I need to book a few more sessions.
It can be a bit nippy but its not terrible, certainly no worse than electroylsis.
I would maybe ask about the strength of their machines. i have a home machine, boots soft skin and it doesn't appear to be very effective compared to the skin treatment.

I use groupon but it is down to the individual company to provide a satisfactory service (that said everything I've bought has been worth it). I'd love to have laser but can't afford to...epilation and skin buffers are my method of choice (and cream for 'intimate' areas - can't be waiting around to grow for helga the horrible ).

Anyway - I always call the company and say 'I'm thinking of buying this groupon deal but I want to check your availability first' - they always seem fine with me.
