Soft fluffy dressing gown...where from?

Hi style gurus,

Where can I buy a lovely thick, soft and fluffy dressing gown for my daughter (aged 22, size 8 - 10)? I don't want anything pink or gaudy, or with bunnies / hearts or whatever on it. Max budget £35. A muted colour is fine, or stripes / spots.

have had a look online but can't see any good ones.

Thanks in advance

I bought mine in Sainsbo's Grey with white stars about £12 it's lovely and warm. They had it in midnight blue with white stars as well, but my size wasn't in.

I got a calvin Klein super soft one from TKMaxx for £30 but friends' is from asda and is virtually the same (and cost a tenner).

My dd has a lovely dark purple with spots dressing gown from m&s. It was about twenty pounds but I bought it before Xmas. It is lovely and snugly.

2gorgeousboys · 04/02/2012 19:25

I'm the same size and got a lovely soft, think and cosy dressing gown from Sainsburys at the end of last year. They had a variety of colours but I got one that's a taupe/mushroomy colour. It also washes and wears really, really well.

Hope that helps.

Will follow those up, thanks, but am wondering if the reason why I'm struggling finding one right now is because they were around for Xmas and now gone, annoyingly.

I got one from F&F at Tesco. Very soft and warm - more so than my White Company one Hmm

Any suggestions or links for online from anywhere? Don't really want to trawl round the shops if they're not stocking them now. Thanks.

Matalan dressing gowns are soft and fluffy.

I bought a plain white one from Asda for a tenner a couple of weeks ago.

suebfg · 04/02/2012 20:09

Look at John Lewis - bought a gorgeous one for DS from there

MadDash · 04/02/2012 20:37

I've got a lovely M&S peruna plain white dressing gown for christmas from DH. It is very soft and cuddly, but if getting for your DD you may want to cut the label out!

fossil97 · 04/02/2012 21:06

Agree re: John Lewis, I got one in the sale last year, the red version of this I suspect. Mega thick and warm!

singinginthelifeboats · 04/02/2012 21:10

Saw some nice ones in Laura Ashley sale today.... not a huge selection but well reduced!

theseventhdwarf · 04/02/2012 22:44

I am wearing Debenhams. Light blue. Very soft. Was £25 but got it for £18 last month.

It washes really well.

DumSpiroSpero · 05/02/2012 08:08

I've got one of these in grey, which is really cosy and has stayed soft even after multiple washes.

chipstick10 · 05/02/2012 08:51

in the past have always always got mine from john lewis, m&s etc. This year however my MIL gave me a primark one for xmas. I love it and went and got another one.

Selks · 05/02/2012 14:16

DumSpiro, I like that grey Next one a lot; am going to order one I think. How did the sizing come up in your opinion - true to size?

DumSpiroSpero · 06/02/2012 06:54

Next sizing always seems pretty good to me, though alas I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum to your DD! Grin

origamirose · 06/02/2012 07:17

TK Max - can't live without it for homeware and nightwear. I got the biggest fluffiest cream dressing gown there that's been through the wash many times and has never lost its fluffiness.

EssentialFattyAcid · 06/02/2012 07:27

Asda £12
Outstanding value as it said on the label!

Chirpychick2010 · 06/02/2012 08:28
