Waxing

Hello.

I am 38 weeks pregnant and thinking about 'downstairs pruning' for the big day. I guess the best way of dealing with the 'lady garden' is waxing. I have never had a bikini wax before and wondered can it be done this late in pregnancy?

No idea about the waxing but don't you think there'll be pain enough, soon enough? The midwife really doesn't care and believe me, nor will you!

I know in the grand scheme of things this will be the last thing on my mind when it all kicks off, but just thought I'd ask!

Immac? If you can still reach that is!

I had a wax at 39+ something - the beautician said it can bring on labour. I wouldn't bother if you don't normally though.

It always amazes me that people think about this. Why would you care?

I know, I know.....just asking what other people do that's all. Think I'll stick with my usual methods!

With DS I didn't do anything and had a lot of pubic hair - felt as I couldn't see it then it didn't matter.

Lost lots of blood after delivery and ended up with very matted pubes. Was not much fun tbh. With DD I trimmed aa best I could which improved things post birth.

So I wouldn't do it for what it looks like but would trim the longest bits.
