Bobbi Brown- product return?

I was given a makeover at Bobbi Brown recently, and advised to buy a set with a day and night moisturiser and an eye cream in it. Now, the moisturisers seem pretty good so far, and am happy with them. But the eye cream irritates my eyes, actually makes them sore and dry. If I had bought it on its own, then I would happily take it back. But, given that it is in a set, is there any point? Then again, the reason I bought the set was because it seemed like a bargain to get all 3 things- I probably wouldn't have bothered paying the money for just the moisturisers on their own.

Do you think I would get anywhere trying to return it? I guess I wouldn't get the money back if I am happy with the other 2 products, but you think I would get offered something in its place or just tough luck?

Have you used it? If so not sure what your consumer rights are but think you might have an issue taking it back

If it actually irritates your eyes and is giving you a bad reaction I think they would take it back.

I recently had a similar problem with Boots No 7 primer which brought my skin out in bumps. They let me take it back even though I had bought it on the 3 for 2 offer.

You may as well ask anyway! :)

I took a slightly used lipstick back the other week. It just didn't suit me and was drying.
They were so helpful and apologetic.
Came away with a new one.
They didn't even ask for a receipt.
I bought it in a different bobbie brown concession in london.
