Hi everyone, just posted in chat that I've got interview for dream job on Monday- totally unexpected! It's in a school enviroment but my problem is that I've lost a lot of weight and planning to lose more so I have a very limited wardrobe and because I've gone from a size 26 to a size 18, my whole shape and style has changed. So I was going to wear: black trousers, t bar shoes (1940's looking and they're black with a wood looking heel) black vest top with a 1940s looking dark cream coloured angora fitted cardigan buttoned up over the top.
So, 1-does this sound ok?
2- if not what could I go for (i need my black trousers!)
3- how can I accessorize?
Many thanks you miracle workers!

I think black trousers and a top sounds right if it not a suit wearing place
I interview people and the trick is don't over accessorise because it can put people off as you get distracted by it
So just try a simple bangle or necklace - something classic

Make sure overall you dress similar in style to employees that already work there and if in doubt stand outside one day at leaving time to see what they wear

Good luck

Ok, I would ditch the cardigan and go with something smarter on top like this or this.

Ohhhh that's got me thinking now as receptionist was wearing suit. Dammit! Will go shopping Thursday night. Blouse and trousers or maybe jacket if I can get one. Thank you for tip on accessories. Don't want to dress down compared to everyone else so pannicking now!
