Best Givenchy perfume

My mum loves this stuff and wants to buy me a bottle but only made by Givenchy. I dont know any of their perfumes so can anyone recommend a nice one? Thanks

Ysatis is gorgeous - been a fav of mine for years!!!

I used to use Amarige about 1000 years ago, Ysatis maybe a bit too 'sexy'? ;)

I'm not an Amirage or Ysatis fan, bit too citrussy for me, but I really like Givency III, it is kind of soft and has a slightly metallic edge, not very sweet, but not masculine. I realise that I have no idea what it smells like, but it's nice and quite unusual.
I also like Hot Couture, which is very sweet, but has a bit of depth. It must have picked up in popularity as it used to be easy to pick up quite cheaply, but now the price is pretty much RRP wherever I have seen it.

I love Hot Couture too but since a friend paused and then said, politely, that it was 'bold' I have worried that it's a tart's-handbag smell. I think it's gorgeous though, like raspberries and custard but posher.

I've had this and loved it and got lots of compliments.

I wear Very irresistible and love it but it might be a bit 'young' if she's an older mum, if that makes sense?

I agree Ysatis is quite sexy - it used to be "date night" perfume though was superceeded by Femme du Bois
