Best non-creasing eye shadow?

I have eyelids that always crease the shadow in the middle Confused

Does anyone else have this problem? If so how have you solved it?

This happens with some products more than others, but always bloody happens! Cream eyeshadows are a definite no no, the shadow collects in my eyelid creases within seconds.

I use the Bare Escentuals eyelid primer and that makes all of my cheaper shadows stay in place. Mac shadows are great for not creasing and I have also had good experiences with the No7 quads - but a primer really does make all of the difference. However, you can't use the same primer that you would use for your face (as they are too oily). Get the primer from qvc and then if it doesn't work for you it can be returned for a refund.

Urban Decay Primer Potion is the BEST thing ever. You just apply it under any eyeshadow and you will be crease free all day. I got my sister some as part of her Xmas present this year and she emailed me and said she wondered how on earth she'd never used it before!

You could also invest in a longwearing cream eyeshadow like MAC Paint Pots, Benefit Creaseless Cream shadows, or Bobbi Brown Longwear cream eyeshadows. These are different from regular cream shadows - once they dry they do not budge or crease at all. But I would recommend the Urban Decay primer potion in the first instance, as it can be used under any of your existing eyeshadows.

I always brush loose powder over my lids before applying eye-shadow & never get creases but I also wear MAC (powder & shadow) so maybe that's what does it.

Bobby Brown longwear cream eyeshadow - the best definitely. It stays on all day but also comes off easily. I got a pot in September and it's still going strong, I reckon i've got another months worth left! It's been an excellent investment.

I went to a mac counter with the same problem and instead of getting an eye primer which is what I thought would work best they gave me a paint pot in the shade closest to my eyelids to use as a base and I've not had that problem since! Can't remember how much the paint pots are though

Bobbi Brown doesn't work for me!
Estée Lauder double wear primer with shadow on top is fine though.

Urban decay potion primer
Have a look at reviews on makeup alley, it does what it says

I have tried the Benefit cream eyeshadow, and it creased :(

I'll check out the Urban Decay - thank you!

I do put pressed powder on my lids before liner and shadow, but it isn't enough. I have quite big oily lids Confused

I think you've nudged me towards the MAC counter too :)
