Estee Lauder Double Wear, or Sheiseido Sun Protection liquid foundation, which has the added bonus of high SPF. The latter isn't very well known, but it's brilliant for hot climates. Very light weight, but water resistant, and with good coverage.

Double wear definitely. They also do Doublewear Light if the original is too heavy. EL counters will give you a 7 day sample

If you like Clinique have you not tried their orignal Repair Wear- not the new one with serum.

It's my fave foundation of all time- and I used to get loads of compliments about my skin. However, they may be phasing it out as the palest shades are now out of stock and I've had to spend months looking for a replacement.

I didn't like EL Double wear as it is drying and chalky.

You might find either Bobbi Brown or Clarins "everlasting" stay- put kind of foundations work well.

EL double wear or Mac studiofix

I use the Clarins long lasting one and it is brilliant (although have never tried it in hot weather). Good coverage and lasts all day on my v oily skin. I use a tiny bit and apply with a brush for less coverage, but it has really good coverage if needed.
