Would this outfit be ok for uni Interview?

Planning to wear a day dress, thick ribbed tights, long tan leather biker-ish style boots? I feel comfortable in it but am a bit worried it
might be too casual. Personally I think it's quite smart-casual (well for me anyway, who lives in jeans!!). Any advice?

Sounds perfect, exactly what I wear for formal situations in academic environment (teaching, interviews etc). Maybe some jewellery, nice neat hair, everything ironed and polished.

Great! Thanks for the feedback! The dress has quite a bold print on it in black, tan and White but I'm thinking it may make me stand out a bit? (it's a group interview)
