Have any of you ever tried on a wedding dress, found photos of it online, then gone to dress makers to make you the dress? Now putting the moral implications of this aside, how much would the dressmaking cost you, then one would add the fabric cost on top.
A good friend is getting married and yens for a designer dress, but thinks she can get a copy made for "a couple of hundred quid" tops. I am dubious. Has anyone got any idea of the costs involved?
