Thread vein removal on legs

I have horrible thread veins on my legs, mostly on my shins (thanks DS1), they look like bruises and I'd really love to get rid of them before another summer in opaque tights and trousers.

Has anybody got any experience of thread vein removal? Is it worth having done, and any recommendations for where to go? I'm in Essex/London.

I had mine injected a few years ago. It cost $300 (200 GBP?) for an area the size of a penny). It lasted for a few months and then came back. I don't know if technologies have improved (laser apparently not as effective on the legs?) but I decided that it was not worth it to keep going. Self-tanner can be really helpful, as can some types of body cosmetics ( I think MAC has one and dermablend is supposed to be good).

I had a few injected on my thighs and was pleased with the result. They never reappeared and I didn't get any new ones nearby.

I think I paid about £2/300 at SK:N and it was definitely worth it. If I get any more I'll go back, I'm far less self-conscious now.
