Has anyone had their lips plumped up?

Just asking. If you had, how much pain and swelling did you get and how long did it last?

I have minute lips and they are getting thinner with age. Have had a consultation with the cosmetic dr and she uses very little product- temporary and never does trout pouts. I trust her because I had a tiny bit of other work done there and it's great.

But just wondering about the ouch factor and- to be honest- getting home from London on public transport.

I put a thread up earlier regarding lip plumpers. I would love to have My lips done, but I am a chicken, really don't want to end up with a trout pout, eventhough I probably wouldn't.

Havent had it done (too scared of trout pout and looking like Jordan or Leslie Ash) but was sitting in waiting room of place that does it and heard screams and yelps from the treatment room where someone was getting it done. Presumably very sore then but I suppose it depends on your pain threshold.

The woman emerged not looking too swollen/bruised so think you should be ok with public transport after.

The people who had bad results had permanent fillers. These are not used by good drs any more. The stuff the dr uses where I go uses fillers that range from ones that simply moisturise- so they even out lines in your lips- to more intense fillers- but she always uses less and prefers to top up if you want more. She has had hers done as have many of the staff and it looks natural.

They did say that for 2 days your lips are twice the size you want them so I was worried about the look , travelling home.

My mouth is just getting tinier and tinier and without lipgloss looks like an old woman's. I am an old woman!
