Anyone used H and M on-line?

Have seen some basics that look good. I used to buy DD's t-shirts from the shop and found the quality and price excellent. Didn't buy much for myself though (not sure why probably in the days when Next quality was much better). So what's the quality like these days? Also they sell 6-8 and 10-12 rather than just an 8 or 10, would you say their sizing is generous (like Next) or small (like M and S). I generally buy size 8 but tend to go for a 10 from M and S. Oh and is there any length in the t-shirts.

Sizing is small IMO my just turned 2 year old is small and 2-4 fit him perfectly. Don't order if in a hurry as they come from Sweden.

pocketandsweet · 24/01/2012 14:24

yes. I was pleased with clothes. I was ordering for my tall 6 dd and the 6-8 was spot on but with enough room to expect tshirts to last at least one more year. Service was not speedy though so don't expect overnight or anything. I will def order again.

Are to talking about adult sizing or kids? Adult sizing is small imho, whereas kids is generous. T shirts are long. Quality is variable. Some is great, some less so.

I like H&M.

pocketandsweet · 24/01/2012 14:29

yes women's sizes in my opinion small and kids generous.

Frog253 · 24/01/2012 14:45

It's the adult sizing I'm interested in atm (but if I order I may well buy for children too, so all views appreciated).

Although they sell it all as 6-8, 10-12, etc it's the same as it the shop so most of it is actually S, M, L, XL

L = 18-20 which is about the same as Boden 16

Fregley · 24/01/2012 15:38

Is terribly slow

southeastastra · 24/01/2012 15:40

their sizing is all over the place, definitely would try to buy in shops if you can, i also had real trouble trying to pay when they sent the invoice through

wouldn't bother again

south345 · 24/01/2012 16:00

Yes payment was a pain you can't pay over the phone or on the Internet if you ask for an invoice, you have to pay on your Internet banking or go to a bank with the slip, wish I just paid by card

Sidge · 24/01/2012 16:03

I've ordered from H&M a few times and had no problems.

Everything came that I ordered, delivered within a week.

I paid at the point of order with a debit card and the money was debited as they despatched it.

Sizing is on the slim side. I wear a size 8-10 usually and order a 10-12 as the 6-8 was tiny.

SomekindofSpanish · 24/01/2012 16:05

Wot Sidge said.

TracyK · 24/01/2012 18:02

You can't return the stuff for a refund to the shop. only exchange or credit note, though you can call the courier up and he'll come and pick stuff up free. I paid by CC on the Internet and then after getting the goods, about a week later got a letter saying my card hadn't gone through, so I hadn't paid for the stuff!

Taffeta · 24/01/2012 18:09

IME, H&M is waaay better online than instore - my local ones are always a mess and never have the sizes in stock.

I've ordered twice online - both quite big orders - one took 4 weeks to get delivered - the other a week. Very pleased with all the clothes, amazing value.

DD 5 and DS 8 and they are spot on with sizes ( my DC are small-average size in general )

Frog253 · 24/01/2012 19:31

Think I'm going to be daring and do it, will go for 10-12 though rather than 6-8.

I've found delivery to be bloody awful.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 24/01/2012 20:27

Delivery is really slow but I do like H&M
